i'm rebuilding my grow room to accommodate this new 400 hps thats coming soon.

i'm thinking a 4 x 4 platform.


what a good height? the hps doesn't have an air cooled hood. 6 feet is the max i can go.

EDIT: Wrong thread (my bad), but I'll comment anyway...


Might I suggest you use at least a 600w for that area.
I'm using 1000w (ac) in a 4x4 and think a 400w would not be adequate. IMO.

but i can't quite clearly see how tall it is? and are you saying 3 x3 is good?

Make it as tall as you can if you want your plants to get the best height possible.

It's always good to have extra height just in case your plants grow a bit more than expected too.
