Your best bet would be to grow a blueberry strain and reduce the lights out temp by around 20 degrees during flower. You can cure the buds with various fruit rinds to attempt imparting a fruity flavor as well. A week is pretty quick to be smoking fresh buds. Sometimes mine will cure for over a month.

It may not make it a fruity weed out of shwag but it can definitely leave a flavor when rehydrating a bud that got too dry. I know that from personal experience and I have spoken with other people who have used melon rinds that made the meds taste a bit melonish as well. I'm just giving my opinion based upon my own experiences. If you have something useful to contribute, welcome. I thought that was what this site was about. Not trolling looking for an argument.

If it's gotten too dry, rehydrate with fresh leaves or buds. Not that it will help much since you missed the curing window.

As for dry vs. wet... If I had a small harvest I would dry trim. But dry trimming elbow after elbow is a pain in the ass.

I trim wet, very close to the same time the plant gets cut. Maybe a couple hours in between. Trying to move the buds around dry so you can properly trim the small fan leaves is a real pain in the ass. Chlorophyll will not "leak out" onto the buds and taint the flavor, chlorophyll is present in any green structure of the plant and proper curing would make any chlorophyll effectively disappear anyways.
