How accurate does the 12/12 timing for flowering have to be?

a few minutes here or there isn't going to be the end of the world. But why worry about it at all? Just get a timer.. Problem solved..

i've seen 12/12 10/14 and 14/10 as long as the time shortens the plant thinks its time to flower ,but you need to be consistent if your all over the place you could stress the plant and/or make it hermy. my 1000w hps is on a $7 walmart timer and has no problems.

Yeah cool, in all honesty I was interested in it for outside, just interested as to how accurate nature has to be and how it works :) Just tried some dandelion and chicory root 'tea', m mmm tasty shit, tastes like black coffee perhaps even better.
