How am I doing?

Fuck! It seems like I have 2 hermies!!!
can some plants turn hermie, yet others in the same tent are female?
I'm so disappointed, I doubt I will yield what I was hoping for...

I take it you've seen some balls on them?

Yeah. Pistils on some of the nodes, and balls on others...
Should I kill the hermies?

I would start cutting the balls off and see if you can control it. If it gets crazy, or they start to open, kill it I suppose.

I think the yellowing is lack of nitrogen, but I'm not posative. Other then that they are looking real nice man.

if possable isolate the hermis by them selves. try to maintain the balls situation, and if something goes wrong and they still get pollinated, you can still get some budd off them and they wont pollinate the whole crop.

the yellowing looks like nitrogen deff. but it could just be the life cycle of the plant. i pull at least 2 or 3 newly dead leaves off my mother now that its almost time to flower.

Well I haven't posted in a while. The flowering plants have been flowering for 5 weeks and they aren't doing too well. I have a feeling my tent is giving off poisonous gasses because I have done pretty much everything else.

I have flushed with 2 times the pot size and watered with nutrients but it seems like the 2 plants have nutrient lock out because they are definitely looking deficient. I'm going to do a flush with distilled water when it's time for the next watering.

I also found 2 sets of pollen sacks on the hindu kush plant so i cut off the buds that had them. I took off the balls OUTSIDE of the grow tent (in fact outside of the house) and did a little trimming. Will I get high if the plant has been flowering for 5 weeks? The bud definitely has crystals but it just seems to airy.

While these plants are flowering, I have 3 Hindu Kush vegging and 5 Fat Skunks vegging. They are all doing pretty well in the DR80 with a 250 HPS.

Sorry to hear that man. I just went through the same thing. Had a couple of light leaks I didn't know about and a couple of them went hermie and I didn't catch it until it was too late.

I harvested mine at about 6 weeks and it was still pretty good. You should be cool if you see resin.

So I harvested (more like broke off by accident) a side cola of the NL x Skunk a day short of 7 weeks. The bud was pretty leafy and light (12 grams dry), not a lot of bud matter to it. I dried it for 5 days then cured it for a week and a few days. When we smoked it the high was surprisingly great. Very much like a sativa high and lasted a good few hours. The smell when burned was honestly AMAZING! Unlike anything I have ever smelled before. It tasted a lot like lemons and had a great after taste. Best tasting bud my friends or I have ever had before.

Today I harvested the main cola of the kush and my fingers are sticking to the keys because of all the sticky crystals. The smell is pretty grassy now but it will change after drying and curing.

The only thing that has really upset me about this grow is the fact that both plants turned hermie. I have found a lot of seeds. I think if the plants weren't hermie then the buds would have been bigger but I can't imagine the smoke getting any better. I guess the only benefit of hermies is the feminized seeds, but aren't the feminized plants more likely to turn hermie because of genetics?

Another that bothers me is that I have a feeling that my Sunhut is toxic. I'm not 100% but the thought is lingering in the back of my mind. I will probably end up building a 5 x 5 x 7ft grow room/box or buy another Secret Jardin tent because I know that the sunhut isn't light proof which I suspect what caused the hermies.

I will post harvest pics, final weight, and a smoke report of the kush.

Hey Smokedat, I was just thinking the other day that I wondered what happened to ya. Glad to hear the smoke so great man. I'm looking forward to the pics. Kingspade had a problem on his last grow with the tent killing the plants, but I can't remember what brand his was. He got it fixed, and they turned out great. Well good to here things are well man, I'll talk to ya later on. If you havn't been by my thread, my girls are all flowering now!! The sativas are almost 3 weeks in, my ww is about 1.5 weeks, and the kush and mango plants are almost to 1 week. lol, only another 10 weeks to go for the sativas ya!!!

Well here are the buds drying (minus another ounce and a half which was gone the day before)

First harvest wasn't as much as I expected but I learned a lot and my current grow I think is going to be bigger and better.

It may not have been the yeild you were hooping for, but at least the buds look really nice. Which strain is that, I can't remember at the moment.

Total dry weight was about 4.5 oz. I was hoping for 5 oz or 5.5 oz but I'm pleased because the smoke is great.
