Its recommended one gallon of soil per foot of height. Most flowering is done in 3-5 gallon pots/buckets for indoors. How tall are they now?

Btw, they look great.

yea nice lookin plants man! alot of people on there seem to be over anxious to flower real quick when the plant is not even a foot tall.

I guess keeping the HTGSupply sticker on your growlight doesn't pose any risk/problem? Do the backsides of those lamps not get hot?

They look great. Start flowering now if they are outgrowing the area you have them in.
I have 3 400 watt lights. The one in the middle is mh and the other 2 are hps. They are in 2 gallon buckets. I used that cfl fixture for veg when they were in Dixie cups. They are about 12 to 15 inches tall with like 9 or 10 nodes. I've topped all of them and lsted some of them but at least half of them I haven't trimmed or lsted and they are growing all natural. I worry that the buckets are too small but I've seen pics of a 5 foot tall plant in 3 gallons soil so I'm not sure. They are about 6 or 7 weeks old Grown in ocean forest soil with fox farm nutes. Any advice or criticism welcome. If I flower now will I not need to transplant?

cant believe u dint flower those girlies yet they are gonna be huge..
I know I can't wait. And that one in a Dixie cup was just an experiment. When I transplanted I left that one in there to see how long it would take to get root bound. It's weird because the roots don't look all bunched and tAngled but it stopped growing weeks ago. I'm just going to chuck it. Anyone feel like chiming in on me not transplanting before flower. Has anyone finished this size of plant in a 2 gal container?

i finshed 6 and ahalf foot tall plants in 3 gallons, you should be fine man. As long as they started off in dixie cups then the rootmass should be nice. You're fine, switch them to 12/12 today.

Those plants are gorgeous! Real healthy. I say if they are mature (showing preflowers) start flowering now. Those buckets should be plenty big enough for those plants. Best of luck.:weed:

thanks man. I'm going to switch to 12/12 tonight. This is my first time using soil that didn't have nutes already in it so I'm not sure if I'm feeding them right but they seem to be pretty happy. Last time I used miracle grow moisture control and they turned out great. I made sure to flush them properly and they tasted fine. Hopefully these ones taste even better since I'm going all organic, although I'm not sure if that's possible because the last ones tasted amazing. I'll post more pics and update in a few weeks if you guys want me to? I don't have a journal for this grow yet but if I get enough responses and interest I'll start one

well i said id update and here it is. Im about 2.5 weeks into flowering. Everything is looking good, except for a few turned out to be hermies(thats why these seeds were feminized in the first place right?) Anyway i have a friend who is growing maui super dog and i couldnt bring myself to throw the plants away so i just picked off as many ball sacks as i could see before they opened. Unfortunately, or fortunately depends on how you look at it, i missed a few pollen sacks. They opened and I collected the pollen and cross pollenated it with my friends maui super dog. It worked because his are starting to grow seeds where he spread the pollen. Hopefully not too many of my buds were pollenated but if they were oh well i can always use more feminized seeds i guess. So were both super excited to see what this new strain looks and smells like. Also can anyone tell just by looking at these pictures if these are in fact hindu kush plants? I got the seeds from some hindu kush that was grown in cali, but im not 100% sure that these are full blown indicas cause ive never really seen any other strain. Does this look like a mix to you guys or does this look extrememly indica dominate? Or maybe mostly indica with a little sativa? Its hard for me to tell but the flowering only take about 70 days so i think its mostly indica but im not sure. Anyway enough talk here are the pictures. I would love to hear what you guys think let me know how you think i am doing

So here is ten days ago

And here is today!

shit looks bomb
It is bro. Super potent. The last time i grew this strain i used miracle grow moisture control and holy shit they loved it. I really feel like mg gets an undeserved bad rep but maybe its bad for other strains. All i know is that my last grow all i did was ph my water and they grew perfectly. This grow i went all organic and at first i overfed them a little and then overreacted and underfed them for a little bit. It took a little trial and error but i think ive finally figured out how to feed these bitches. To be completely honest if i do soil again( my next grow is going to be dwc) im going to use miracle grow moisture control. I highly recommmend it. Anyway, if you guys want to see what that grow looked like all the good pictures are on the first page of my journal in my sig. I vegged these ones for quite a bit longer and instead of Lst i just topped at 10 nodes. that was way too late with this amount of plants i should have topped at 5 nodes. Lesson learned. and thats what its all about. that, and killer buds, lol
