i have a reverse osmosis water system i kept the ph at 5.8 to 6.0 never higher never lower. the ppm were actually high i mixed everything to the faxfarm feeding guide but the ppms were always high. i was told to use the ppm reading as a reference and maintained it at 1590 - over 2000 my meter goes off the chart at 2000ppm. never had any problems with the leaves turning yellow or any signs of nute burn. i think the difference in my plant hight was due to a planter that was too small. so on my second grow i am using 2 2'x 4' planters with 14 babies in each one? most of the clones came out to about the same height but ther were a couple that just wanted to grow taller then the rest. i topped them and pruned were i thought was right and am getting more konas. but i see this grow going a little better but i just do not have anything that looks like some of these other growers pics.

do not know the strain i had to start with something so i used the seeds from one of the better mid grade bagseed i smoked at the time and gor really buzzed off it. how long should i keep them in the ver room?? certain time certian height?

So explain to me where exactly he "not so elegantly" states anything in that sentence about the method he used? He's talking about seeds, and bud, how that bud was better than his hydro. Better than his hydro system? That makes great sense. Quit telling people to ignore people when you're talking out of your ass. I'm a soil grower, so maybe it makes a difference - but a couple things I noticed; 65-72 degrees seems a bit cold, I would run about 5 degrees warmer. Too cold can stunt their growth. Also - the PH range for MJ plants is 6.0-7.0, I think 6.5 is what you aim for, so maybe slightly too acidic as well. Good luck on your next grow!

i used a co2 calculator that another grower posted that gave the amount of co2 that would be needed fog the room. have not bought the co2 meter to add too my climate control system, another $500 but all ready ordered one. i have the syringe type co2 tester for a rough figure. i did not see any real results within 2 weeks so i increased the duration of the co2 cycle. did that 2 days ago have not opened the curtain to see if there are any better results yet.
Didn't mean to hurt your internet feelings there backwoods, i'll make sure to get a whambulance on route to your location. It also seems you have an inferiority complex, as I never mentioned anything about knowing more than anyone. yeah but if a started simple i would always have to be expanding. so my thinking was start with a decent grow room and and then keep it within a point where snitches become a problem. i just want to grow my own dank bud without having to deal with every money hungry babbit bud dealer and be forced to buy whatevers around. i have more then i can enjoy with myself and close friends. and make a dollar to cover the cost of the electric and nutes. if not no big deal as long as the first part goes well. (i have more then i can enjoy.
