...not on a budget ..dont let the tape in my box fool you .lol.....just experimenting with what can be achieved with as little $as possible not trying to win the cannabis cup or anything just personel enjoyment ...I've got 5 cfl... 3 inches from plant .....all the time till she touches almost ..fed with ...miracle grow lol...yes ....1/4 strength in 1 gallon water.... 2 cfl hanging to the sides of her.... cfl are at or above wattage needed..recommended. .it's even been cold here in Texas last couple weeks... didn't slow her down I hoped it would though ... ....I don't think killing myself is needed I'm well aware of lights available just don't think it's needed for 1 plant at a time .......
sorry that was hyperbole, I was drinking a bit.
I think when people are saying a few grams, they mean like 10 grams at the most, of course that's a total shot in the dark, you just can't guess yield, but it's got like 7 nodes and no side branching under not much light at all. Not trying to shoot you down, I just wouldn't set myself up for disappointment expecting anything close to an oz.
A lot of people are recommending LST or supercropping, I wouldn't recommend it except perhaps very little very light LST, but since you're already 2 weeks into 12/12, I wouldn't risk stressing it.

I consider the "first grow" in my signature to be my real first grow, except that back in high school I did this-
I started with one CFL, went to walmart every time I had a few dollars and got more, probably adding like two per week. later on into 12/12 I got a 400w HPS on craigslist.

with all those CFLs plus the HPS I got an ounce of schwag.

I've spent 25 $on lights ..nutes..timer..ph meter ..cords were owned before grow.. I'm not worried if it's less than an oz.... all in good fun ...will look into tent ..sounds interesting..thx ....I'll step it up on the next go around ......this is my first time trying to grow anything.... I doubt any of you had mind boggling amounts of nug on your first attempts. U may now through trial and error and learning .....but not your first couple .did you ?...or how was your first grows......it's a learning process and it's been fun I'll keep moving forward and developing don't worry I'm aware my set up isn't optimal ........now where is that tent sold at.....google wake up
The pic in my avatar is my very 1st grow...250w HID, Fox Farms happy Frog Soil, and nutes, in a 20"x36"x62" ten, yielded about 2 ounces.. I had done 100's of hours of research and studying did the whole thing on about $500. By my 2nd grow all the equipment paid for itself.

If you doubt a good grow can be achieved on the first couple you are doing yourself an injustice.

Spend some $, take some time to do some research and you should be just fine.

Good Luck and Great Grow.

Nice!!.what lights are u using and such ...my main thing is space ..and I rent so I have it in my closet.yes mistake but my landlord is chill as fuck so no worrys there ..haha...but I also have family ..so I keep it simple for now ...
Hey jenny!
I have a young daughter, 6 months old and my tents are in my garage.
I also am renting however I can pull my tents down for an inspection and hide everything in less than 24 hours, it isn't ideal but inspections from the owner only happen every 6 months here so that's almost 2 harvest's per inspection.
I ran 1 600W light for 4 plants through veg, now I have 2x 600W HPS lights slamming my plants with bud sites.
I have 5 plants under 2x 130W CFL's flowering in my other tent, the results wont be as good with those but I thought originally 2x 130W CFL's was a little more than just 260W's (for some reason lol) going to fix that by adding 6 23W globes each side of my 130W CFL should pick my yield up.
Cheers

What about heat ..?..how many fans do u run i have a 10"...fan running stays ok temp but adding more light will raise temp too high currently looking into more efficient ient light sources thank you

I have one 6'' intake fan bringing fresh air into my tent, and one 6'' fan extracting the hot/humid air from the top of my tent.
the extractor runs 24/7 as its summer over here ATM, I also run 2x 25W desk fans that oscillate one side of the tent each 24/7.
LED lights are a great option if you don't want fans running all the time, as they don't create much heat but the light intensity is still very much alive!
they are just a little more expensive than HID lights though.

Red hairs are a sign maturity is on the way. Fans falling over are the worse. Happened to me in veg, broke a branch on my amnesia haze. Thankfully she recovered and is flowering nicely. Just ensure your fan is secure and not blowing to strong on the plants. They can get wind burn. Happy growing. :blsmoke:

your plants need a heat/humidity fix-up, as your leaves are really canoed.
It isn't detrimental to the overall health of your plants, as most of veg mine looked like that too and I was so mad cause I couldn't get them to look beautiful like everybody elses.
If you just allow plenty of airflow into the grow area and employ a fan or two I would think the plants will perk up nicely.
Other than that those look nice and healthy :)
If you are asking for LST techniques then I will run you through a quick one.
Grab some nylon coated wire in a roll, I get mine from the hardware store near my house its only about $6 per 20m roll.
Find an anchor point below your plants or make something below your plants to tie the ties to, and then start trying down your stems to open your plant up.
You can safely remove some fan leaves also at this point but please do not leave the plant bare on your first grow atleast.
Be sure to leave atleast half of the fan leaves if you start removing them, the removal will just allow you to tie down your plans easier and see what your working with also it will increase light penetration to the lower branches of your babies.
the photo ive attached is what I mean by tying them out, don't worry too much about making that shape of plant because you have to train that from an earlier age.
But you can still tie them down the same way roughly.

They could survive if you repot them in smaller plastic pots and Bury the stem right up to the cotyledons (feeder leaves). And stake them up with a cane
