I just re-read your first post. The 150w hps you have isn't very powerful so you are definitely using it now right? Try to get it close but when you first move it check on it a lot with a thermometer sitting on top of the pots. Use the CFL's at the same time for extra light. You could put them up the top to help the top buds or put them on the sides to help get the bits that are being shaded by the tops. It's just as well you are flowering already because you won't get much light penetration with a small lamp like that. Being twice as far away doesn't mean half as much light- it could mean as little as a quarter of the light because the drop off rate is exponential.
About them getting bigger- they definitely do jump right up in flowering. Between every node elongates but how much is determined by the strain and even grow conditions. Hopefully you have an indica dominant strain going there so it stays compact.

I got really tired of my space issues. I went and bought a tent with plenty of room. Have pics just havent had time to put them up yet. The hps is about ten

Ok nice and compact. Maybe if you want to use that the next grow you could do a SOG (Sea Of Green) where you use more plants in smaller pots but cut off the side branching so there is still air flow. Don't cut the main tip or you'll have the plant trying to grow sideways and not vertical. You have just enough room to have a single trunk on each plant with the leafs on either side only just touching the tips of the next plants leafs (if they touch at all that is). You flower them early because only the tops of the plants have the best light penetration but the idea is the end result is 'table top' of bud.

I like to cut mine in the middle so that they do grow all out to the side. I have more than enough room to compensate for this. please excuse my dirty wall lol I took the picture before I cleaned it really well.

That cabinet is my old grow box. I put up a picture of it so people could see how much larger the tent is than my box. I think I will use the box for vegging or clones.

Wow, just saw this. You said you had already started with the HPS and said that you "read it was bad" so you stopped. When I gave you the advice to veg with it I thought you knew to keep it a reasonable distance away. I was basically trying to let you know it is ok to veg with it, never dreamed it would be put close enough to kill them. I guess I should've been more specific.
Lookin good now though, +rep for keeping some alive after that disaster.

Yea man it is not your fault whatsoever. I held my hand out at thd highest point of foilage but it didnt feel hot to me. I guess I have thick skin or something. I didnt have the room for all of those ladies anyway so I didnt really get too upset over losing eight of them .

There is only one bagseed reggie one. The others are seeds I got from a friend. He said they were dank seeds but idk. This being my first grow, I just used what I could get for free.
