1st ur plant is glorious, congrats. what is the suggested time for this strain? Now, correct me if I am wrong, but this is what I saw in the picture, mostly cloudy, a few amber. Well that means it is definitely ready for harvest depending upon the type of high u want. The picture of the plant itself, also presents at least 50% brown hairs (again, only what it looks like to me), my eyesight isnt perfect :)

So, being as I am unfamiliar with this strain, I would ask is this a sativa dom or indica dom? And if I was correct in the evaluation of what I saw (especially in regards to the trichs, if that matches what u saw) then ur actually past the peak harvest sativa window, so get the lights off & get her in the dark for harvest in 24-48 hours, on the toss end if ur looking for a true indica harvest u have some time left, maybe a week & a half; u would keep checking ur trichs till they were all about 50% amber.

Thanks for the reply, It is a sativa dominant strain with a flowering time suggested of 9-10 weeks. Your eyes served correctly about half the hairs are amber/brown. I'm planning on chopping this friday or saturday but i'll be more then happy to chop earlier if the consensus goes that way. Here's some additional pictures of the plant from a few days ago. 2011-05-02_00-04-08_761.jpgView attachment 15818112011-05-02_00-05-06_47.jpg2011-05-02_00-05-20_260.jpg

As long as possible..so sat in your situation
Yes its unfortunate that i have to chop potentially a bit early but I don't have a choice. I'm going to Montana on a geologic expedition for my major and I need to bring everything with me. It's either chop Saturday and let the buds dry for a week before jarring them up to cure and bring along for smoke or wait another week beyond Saturday but only give them 24 of drying before i'll be forced to put them into the mason jars.
