How Are Things Going- Help/Pics Included

So this is day 28 of flowering. Not Sure how things are going to this point as this is my first grow. Not sure if I put this thread in the right spot but since I am using cfl's I figured that it would be ok.
Let me start by saying that I am using MG soil, with MG Bloom Boost. (mistake 1)
My Grow area is 5ft high X 6ft Long X 2ft wide. I am using 24x 100w 2700k CFL's also using 4x 48inch tubes.(mistake 2)

This is a unknown strain due to me just finding it in a used bag. So im not really sure how long flowering time should take. (mistake 3).

Well anyway here are some pictures of how everything is going so far. Like I said they are different strains so everything is different.

This a Picture of all 3 of my girls inside the growbox. Lights above and on sides.

This is a picture of the Buds comming out of the the side stem.



Picture 3.
This is a picture of one of the Top Buds. Some of the wither long hairs are turning red. Is that what is suppost to happen or is something wrong?

This is a better bicture of a Top Bud on the same plant.


Picture 5.
This is a picture of the whole plant. It is about 2ft high and 3ft wide.

Like I said this is my first time growing and I know that I made some mistakes along the way. I would like to know if I am doing anything wrong or should I just keep going as I am?. All info is very much welcome and put to use.

Looking good! I am going to be adding some side lighting on my grow. Challenge you will have filling up those buds with all light overhead as it doesn't get down deep enough as the plants get taller.

looking pretty good so far but i'd add another few cfls around the sides to help the lower buds fill out, keep an eye on ur temps as this might be why the pistils are turning red if they are too close to ur light.

take a look at my current cfl grow https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-fluorescent-lighting/636586-cfl-grow-big-buddah-cheese.html im using 1 300w dual spec overhead light and 4 or 5 smaller cfls as side lighting for 2 plants.

Thanks for the advice guys. Like I said, this was my first real grow. There are alot of things that I've learned so far. Here is a Picture of the lower buds growing. Most of the water leaves have been trimmed away so i could try and get some light to the lower bud area's.

Cutting the leaves off makes things worse on you....buds build from the light hitting the fan leaves, not the bud site.....keep your leaves on, ya dumbass

The pistils turn red or orange naturally over time. It is not a problem.

try bending the fan leaves back to allow more light into the lower buds because cutting them off can stunt the plant as its the leaves that absorb the light and allow the plant to grow. only ever trim off dying leaves, hope this helps u dude

Thx for the ideas. Yea I trimmed most of the fan leaves off because light was not making it the whole way down to the smaller areas. I noticed that it did stunt the growth of the plants.( lesson Learned). Im going to be adding a few more lights around the sides of the plants to ensure that light is going as deep as it can. Can Anyone tell me about how long you should flower for? About 30% of the hairs on the bigger buds are red. Crystals are still a milky color.
Not sure of the stain due to it was a bag seed- Next grow will be from ordered seeds.

most strains will take at least 8 weeks or more for flowering but just judge it yourself u want about 50% or more hairs darkening and the trichs should be turning amber

Today Is Day 35 of Flowering. Here are some updated pictures of how everything is going. You can see the growth in the buds since last week.
Let me know what you guys think. Like I said this is my first Grow.

Hey thanks Garybhoy11. This so far have not been to hard. Cant wait till this grow is over, I just finished making my hydro unit. Could only dream what the plants would look like if they were growing in there.
