IM in my 3rd week of flowering and I have some curling going on one of my plants... Its been suggested that I flush the medium... IM wondering now if using tap water would hurt my plants more than help? I want to do it quickly and cant really get to the store to pick up more distilled... If I could use tap just for one flushing without hurting my plant it would be great!

Most people say not to. I have and didnt see anything bad come out of it. Now i let the water sit in an open container for 24hours before watering. Never had a problem.

The only problem with tap water is the high ppm's. When using pure tap water to mix with nutrients, the ppm ends up being to high. Another problem is plants need micro elements that are in tap water. Flushing with straight tap water is no problem. I also believe when mixing nute solution, tap water should be included in the mix for it micro elements. I use 3/4 spring (filtered) water and 1/4 tap water with my nutes.
