I have 30 plants flowering under 4 1000's. Harvest time coming soon (:weed::shock::joint:) and i am wondering which size bags to get. I am between the 5 gallon and 20 gallon and 5 bag or 8 bag setup. My buddy says 20 gallon is too big to do manually and that i would have to build a rig to strain them. I am not opposed to building one if nessesity dictates but i am not really sure how i would go about that. I have an idea but if anyone else has anything tried and true post some pics. Also i heard that 8 bags are a pain and that most people that buy 8 bags end up only using 3-5 bags. Anyone with experience want to weigh in?

Harvested 8.5 lbs dry and processed all trim leaves with the 5 bag, 5 gallon set. No prob.

Got about an ounce and a half of 3 different grades of full melt. 73 micron (if I remember correctly) was the cat's meow.2 of the bags filter out crap.

Paid a lot of money for the set, however, and in hindsight, not really worth the trouble. I omce took the bottoms out of a few 5 gallon buckets and purchased a few diiff grades of silkscreen off of ebay. Made the best hash I've ever smoked to date with a 120 micron screen, with all glands heads collecting in a slow draining 20 micron screen. It pressed into a perfect black ball with silvery speckles in it, consistency of a piece of chewed gum Sure, it was a few grades in 1, but a real crowd pleaser. Shared a sesame seed ball with a friend and got over a dozen expansive hits of it, 4-hour high with a beginning, middle, and end. Fire.

20 gallon sets are for outdoor grows.
