How bout them Cowboys?!

The Giants lost.

If Da Boys can manage to beat the Foreskins tonight they clinch a playoff spot.

As shitty as the Skins are currently, they might pull off an upset. Those two teams bring out the worst, and the best, in each other.

yes it is just like the boys to beat the undefeated saints and lose to the deadskins. no matter the records this rivalry is always a slugfest.

Yah. I remember last year when Arizona made it to the playoffs. All of the announcers, were kind of upset and were saying "they are the worst team to make it to the playoffs," which is still true. They just managed to get very hot at the right time and made it as far as they did. Seriously though, the NFC West is like a high school division nowadays it seems.
true words. the win against the redskins was alright, i actually thought they would play us tougher to be the spoilers. wtf is the deal with short yardage run game? 4th&1 3&half a foot and barber cant get anything lately. haynesworth did blow up 2 short yardage plays w/ penetration but the damn o line cant get any damn push in these short yardage sits?? multiple games we cant run 1 yard but we can run all over the field?
barber seems to be dancing before hitting the hole. i dont blame him sometimes cuz the o line is letting 2-3 defenders in the backfield as soon as he gets the ball. barber is my favorite cowboy but seems to be struggling lately. every time he breaks into the open he stumbles and falls down on his own. we have 3 good running backs but none get significant carries. i think it hurts their rythym. garret still doesnt keep the d honest and calls horrible plays sometimes. all in all i am happy and we got a huge game against philly. we just have some issues to work out or it may be a short playoff stint again. go boys!!

I actually felt sorry for the Skins. I don't think I have ever seen a team self-destruct mid-season like that.

I think the Boys felt sorry for them, too. The score does not reflect that game at all.

The Buzzards will be a different story, however. Either way, the Boys are in the playoffs.

It will be sweeter with a Division Championship, though.

Im rooting for them man, ive been a fan my whole life, they have been my #1 dissapointment each year since the glory days. But i think they can do it this year, it all just comes down to them playing as a team, if we can do that consistantly we have a good shot this year!

me too brother. yeah the 90's were good to us. i have stuck with them through some shit...like quincy carter and ryan leaf at the helm lmfao. romo surprised me when he replaced bledsoe and i thought he might be able to help. i had some doubts after certain games but he has been pretty consistent lately. yeah they need to keep coming together as a unit and playing with some heart and toughness. its hard to predict what they are gonna do, they know how to break your heart.:wall:

yeah the lions have been bad for a while. i remember being in awe of barry sanders and its been a long time since then haha. i guarantee detroit is a hard place to live right now.

Lifelong Cowboy fan here. I can't wait for this weeks game. Both teams are playing for homefied advantage against one another in the wildcard spot. It's going game. Cowboy's always have a boxers punching chance in any game they play.

Yea i gotta admit When the cowgirls actually decide to play they can be dangerous

Perfect example was their victory over the Saints, but im loving a single stat that the last game the cowgirls won to close out the Season was january of 2000 lol

Every year is a new team. Their offense is clicking, defense is back to top form. Hopefully Jason Garret will pull his head out of his ass and they have a good chance of winning this game and taking the NFC East.

Stat wise when was the last time the Eagles won it all? NFC champs is only 1/2 the picture they have still yet to win it all. :finger: :-P

95 I believe. 96 is the last time they won a playoff game.

My girlfriend's mom is a dallas fan, so I don't HATE dallas but they aren't my favorite team. I'm a Steelers man.

Anyway, if Romo can stay away from that "I hate to complete this pass to look good for the media" feeling when he plays (like he has been for the last couple of games), then Dallas has a chance. McNabb is headlining a star-studded big-play offense, if he gets hot early and Romo plays anything but near-perfect, I expect Philli to win. If Dallas is going to win, they have to throw the Eagles O-line out of their game, and score early to give themselves some breathing room. If the Cowboys need anything in any game, it's breathing room.

I def agree, dallas doesnt do the best under pressure... they can do good. Its just not consistant.

Im just glad they fuckin booted folk, i mean fuck, 30 points in a year is ridiculous, in a way i felt bad for the guy, but at the same point its like fuck man, your job is to kick the ball... thats it!

he was missing chip shots right and left...

I remember in the Saints game, when all the Boys had to do was kick a fieldgoal and it would've been 27-17. I KNEW Folk was going to miss it because they showed clips of pregame him missing wide left and wide right, it was pretty bad.

In just a couple of hours the best defense in the League meets the most explosive offense. This is going to be a game!

The Cowboys will prove if they are serious contenders or the same old heartbreakers.

Let's go 'Boys! It's time to take the E-girls down a notch or two.
