How can I convert this into a cheap grow room

Long time smoker first time grower looking to convert a double pop up canvas wardrobe into an call grow room for a single plant here is the pop up wardrobe

Is that cardboard? Sounds flammable. I would just spend a $100 and get a small tent on eBay that already has the cutouts. I built a cab and it's only 4' and kinda a pain in the ass to tell the truth. Because of its height limitations. Really it's only less than 2.5 feet tall for the plant to grow if you deduct for the pot that takes up space on the bottom and the light that takes up space at the top.

Edit: canvas. I see. I would prolly still just buy a decent cheap tent that's already set up with knock outs for fan etc.

I feel ya. You can get a decent cheap tent for about 66 in that currency. I dunno bud. If your budget is that tight maybe use a closet and staple a blanket or something up in the inside to block light leaks through the door.
 
I did something similar for my grow room .
What I did was move all my clothes into a set up like this in my bedroom . I then gutted my closet and set the closet up as the grow room .

If you wanna go cheap and easy, consider Hempy Bucket and Lucas formula. You will need a 3 to 5 gallon bucket, drill a hole 2" from the bottom. Perlite to fill the bucket and can add vermiculite if you want but not necessary. For Lucas Formula you will need Maxibloom powder, CalMag and PH up. You will also need a PH meter. $12 U.S. On eBay. Some kind of thermometer to watch temps in grow area. And some kind of cheap fan. Eventually when it starts to stink you might need odor control. That might cost you unless you can figure out how to rig up something to vent it away or just don't care.
 
Just hang a light and put a fan pointing in to vent, that should keep it cool. Cover it with a blanket to keep light in
 
Just measure for height, you could always tie the plant down if that becomes an issue. It should work out, you might have space for more than one plant
 
I started my grow in my closet with 15 plants I got 8 CFL 100 watt n a florescent 4 ft light n its small and work good your setup will work start out with what u got u can alway add to it Good Luck
