NO.
Baking soda increases the PH, vinegar lowers the PH.
Baking soda also increases the salinity of the soil.
Scrog had it with the lime, that way it's not just the water you're PH'ing.
I haven't seen an anybody ask yet where you are getting the 8.0 reading though.
Your water, the runoff, or the soil?????????????????

i dont know what ro water is. I let my water sit for 36 hrs. i heard that is good for it.

how much soda do i put? i use 3 gal buckets for water so?? 1 tbl sp 2 tbl sp? thanks
NO! baking soda will fuck it up even more.
RO is reverse osmosis, through a system, but yes leaving the water out to let chlorine evap. is good.

Dolomite lime but it takes a few weeks for it to react. Top dress with the lime at a rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon of medium and water in well.. Baking soda is a horrible ideal. The sodium it contains can cause all sorts of problems. Also just running pHed water through the soil will not change the pH.
I think you have that back to front. Dolomite Lime is for raising pH (and Mg)
