How can i make Two colas instead of 1?

hey everybody, its Bonzing again! lol

the topic says it all, im interested in knowing if its any better to have 2 main colas? well first off, what is a colas exactly? like is it the main stem, with the main bud at the top?

and how can i cut it, so it creates 2 colas? can someone be able to answer my question? thanks in advance, take care all

p.s if your just gonna say search it, or your a noob, or any of those kind of answers.. Go fuck youself right back ( in advance ..)

here is what you can do how tal is your plant if you have over 2 nodes at the very top of the plant at the newest growth cut it off its called topping and in turn the plant will grow two shoots or you can cut it in half to fim it fimming a plant is harder it gets you 4 colas tho fim stands for f**ck i missed meaning topping lol ill post some links for ya

The guide linked above is very solid, you should be able to get plenty of info there. A cola is considered a branch/cluster of buds. The main cola is thus the top cluster on the main stem, also the largest on the plant. I prefer 4 main cola's to 1. It helps keep a shorter canopy/plant height, and better light absorption thus at the bottom levels of the plant. I find I get much more consistent and uniform results from topping as compared to the FIM method. Keep in mind, creating 2-4 main cola's is best used for plants that have been vegged awhile. Its kinda pointless to do with shorter plants that go straight to 12/12. Hope this helps!

my nodes, first ill tell you how i see my plant

1st node 1 leaf
2nd node 3 leafs
3rd node 3 leafs
4th node 4 leafs
5th node 5 leafs

now my question was, since theres only 3 leafs on that set of nodes, lol will my new colas and all, have only 3 leafs? or is everything gonna be safe? hopefully somebody understands this , let me know please, thanks

no it wont man it will come out normal go ahead and top it at the 5th node, are you countin from the bottom up

ya im counting from the bottom up , hmm i think i killed my strawberry diesel yesterday, poor bastard... i guess ill do a 4 colas on one of the arjans haze , or maybe the super lemon haze, ill let you all knkow how that goes in about a week, thanks everybody
