Well Ive been growing a hermie for the fem seeds, planted mar.21, flowered as of may1, self firtilized about 3 weeks ago, I can see tons of seeds, they seem to be the right size (like the bag seeds) but I need them to be really heardy and strong, what is the shurest way to tell they are ready to harwest, also what to do with them after harvesting to increase my chances of sprouts mext spring? thanx .

I'm pretty sure that yer seeds will have herm traits too. Some may be fems..but I don't think that they'll all be straight up feminine seeds.

They are as "strong" now as they'll ever be. Genetics don't improve over time or by any other means. The offspring will be no more potent than the parent.

What yer looking to do is wait until at least a few of the seed pods OPEN on thier own and exposed the seed. The should be brown/tiger striped..etc...not white or green....a sign that they are still immature and not viable. (won't grow)

If yer 3 weeks in...you need at least another 3 weeks, IMO. Seeds take 4-6 weeks to develop fully...and there's no need to rush 'em after waiting that long...

good luck

I've read about using this method to produce fem seeds as well, from what I've read the best thing to do is to let the buds fall off on there own, then there is no question that the seeds are ready. Hope this helps! Happy growing!
