I don't know what else to tell ya, other than smoke a bowl, clear your mind.. and break your grow environment down.. piece by piece.
First things first.. IMO, you've made it harder than it really is.. by throwing in all these extra devices and what-not, that you really honestly probably don't need.
The
de-humidifier is good to have around.. incase your humidity levels get too high.. I however, personally do not use a humidifier nor do I use a de-humidifier.
I've got one 8" fan sitting on top of my HPS unit, which the fan I have pointed downwards and kind of toward the wall next to it.. therefore making the wind/air from that fan hit/bounce off that wall, sending the air directly to the HPS unit itself.. as well as my two ladies below the HPS lamp. So not only does my HPS lamp get cooled with air.. but the same air that's cooling my light, also gets routed off the wall directly to the plants.. so I kill two birds with one stone.. so to say.
Then, I also have another fan that is pointed in the plants general direction.. which further helps keep my indoor summer temps in check. Lastly, I have an HUGE exhaust fan.. which sucks the warm air from the grow area, and blows it directly out the door. I have the door acting like a vent.. with not opening it all the way.. just enough for the warm used air, to escape out the vented door.. via the vacuum/suction from the exhaust fan. Oh, and the exhaust fan I use.. is a 20" box fan. Works fucking great.
I've got summer time temps where I live.. that, during the hottest part of the day, the temps will reach anywhere from 95`F to 110`F. That's not including the fucking humidity and heat index. Don't even want to go there..
Shit gets hot and humid around here in the summer. July and August are the hottest two months around here in the South.
Anyhow, hopefully those tips gave you some idea that you have not yet tried? I dunno.. just trying to help ya out.
You might even want to take a look at the mini A/C unit.. that I'm looking at. They've got all sizes you could possibly need, from very small.. small.. medium.. big.. and LARGE. I'm thinking of ordering one of these bad boys.. just to use in my grow area, which isn't all that big to begin with.. so that will help with the cost of the A/C unit that I need. I'm thinking the smallest one.. could possibly do the job... considering my grow room is only 7ft & 7inches tall [x} 5ft & 9inches wide [x] 4'ft deep
So I'm pretty sure that either the very small or small unit would get the job done just fine. There's nothing that would make me as happy.. as having the ability to control my plants environment.. all the way down to controlling the actual room temp. Nothing would make my plants happier either.. lol.
I don't have any of the specs for the units.. nor do I know how much they are. I just know they make them.. and I guess I'm going to upgrade to either the v-small or small unit. Should get the job done nicely.
Anyhow, the portable/small A/C unit is something that I think every grower should consider. Get your temps in check, and generally everything else will follow and fall in place.
peace.
P.S. - forgot to mention one important thing. During the hottest months of summer and during the hottest part of the day.. with my current fan setup, my max daytime (lights on) temp varies between 81`F and 82`F with a max humidity value of 41%. I can't argue with that.. and I can't complain with those temps/humidity levels. Especially when its almost 100`F outdoors. So I'm happy with my current setup.. but as I was mentioning about the portable small 'wall-mountable' A/C units, I know that if I were to upgrade to one of those units.. I know I could get my max daytime temps lower as well as my max humidity levels. Heck, I could put it at whatever temp I wanted it. That's the part I love the most.. that's the best part about using one of those portable a/c units.. is that I can have the grow room any temp I want it. It just does NOT get any better than that my friends.. just doesn't get any better than that.
