How close should I have my plants to the light ?

Growing them indoor until I move them outside in late April. How close should the light be to the plants?

put your hand (close) under the light until it gets uncomfortably hot, then slowly move your hand away, when it's only warm that's your minimum distance.

It’s a sun blaze T5 high out put fluorescent
2,000 lumens

As close as possible. You could really use more light.

i have another LED light on them too. I’m moving them outside soon
