how come my buds aren't growing?

I have a couple plants of lemon skunk which i had in veg for 4 weeks then switched to 12/12 under a 600w hps light. they have been in flowering stage 5 1/2 weeks now. they were femminized seeds and got little white pistols like the beginning of buds and grew an additional 3 feet taller, but the buds haven't grown at ALL and what little is there is starting to show some orangish red like expected when maturing. what could cause this lack of bud? a small amount of light seeping into my space, bad seeds (they were over a year old when germinated), something else?
Thanks

are you saying theres light leaking into your grow space?

obviously if thats what your saying then its enough light to keep the plants from sleeping there 12 hours to induce flowering, you should really of fixed that as soon as you noticed

Make sure they have sufficient light nutrients and also when its at 12/12 make sure theres no light leaking in couse this can make them hermy and slow down flower production.

light leaks will allmost stop a flowering plant from growing at all, they will be popping nanners next.Fix those light leaks and you might be able to salvage a little smoke
