can anyone post a pic of the begining sprout/ growth of a newly fim plant?i been trying to fim my plants and i have no idea what to exspect to see if the fim worked.i do see little sprouts of leaves between the main stem and nodes that look like newly sprouted leafs at top of the plant,could that mean my fim worked?

It would be called a "FIDI" as in "Fuck I Did It"
So missing a FIM is OK....

And you understand, that these 8 new tops, will give you your exact same total yield in BUD, that your 'non fimmed' plant had prior to being FIMed?
It just moves the bud to a better location, more eye appealing...

See Danny's pix for how-to info. The reasons for FIMing and topping are twofold - first to manage height (keep the plant shorter) and secondly to grow more than one top cola. Done right a FIM will produce 4 colas where there was one. Topping will usually result in 2 main colas. You can judge your success by counting the number of colas that result. Good luck, BigSteve.
