How do I Lower Temp While Raising Humidity?

Greetings! I recently switched from LED panels to a 600 watt HPS set up. 4x4x8 closet. Things were going rather good at 1st with the LEDs. Temp was at a constant 74-79 degree F with the lights going 24/7. When the 600 watt came began using that and temps rose dramatically to around 110 F which forced me to have to open up the closet door to get air from the bedroom to keep things cooled down. My 8" fan just wasnt doing it anymore. I live in a cold winter state so I began opening the bedroom window too plus the bedroom has a ceiling fan. That helps a little but if I close the closet door-back to 110 degrees! I live in a condo and really didnt want to cut thru the walls to run ducts as I dont plan to stay here forever, I plan to move into a house somewhere down the line but until then I have to work with what I have. The closet does have entrance into the attic though. I also am in the process of wiring up a panel with four 80cfm computer fans (total=320cfm which should be more than enough for the size room) that Im gonna mount on the bottom of one of the closet shutter doors as an intake (When I move, these doors are old and will be replaced). I know one of my probs is that I have a batwing reflector. I am planning on getting one with the tempered glass and the 6" duct holes to reduce some heat but that wont be for another 3 or 4 weeks maybe (moneys kinda tight right now lol). I did just order a big 18" shop fan that Im waiting on to arrive. That should easily blow some of the cool bedroom air into the closet. I really have no idea where I would exhaust the heat from the bulb to? Maybe the attic? Should I also add 4 more computer fans (same model) to the top of the same door to exhaust the entire room?
Second problem: While using the LEDs I could always put a couple big buckets of H2O in the closet, turn my heat fan on for a couple minutes, turn it off and close up the closet and the humidity would reach about 49% which was acceptable. NOW...with the 600 watter there is no more closing the closet door till lights go off (had to go to 18/6 due to the heat issues) which means the 8" fan runs all day which makes the humidity stay under 20% (and thats with 2 big pots of water plus 3 large wet bath towels hanging in the closet). I even bought a humidifier off the net that sold as new but when I tried to use it it did nothing at all and began to flash the bad filter message. I contacted the seller and he's sending more filters cause maybe those went bad from the unit just sitting in the box for a year or so I guess but I'm SOL till they arrive. So how could I lower my temps of this closet while at the same time raising the humidity level? Any help is greatly appreciated!

blocks of ice? i dont have a problem with heat its the humidity that's killing me right now i can only get 16% at the highest .

Is your 8 in fan a inline fan? If not, get a real fan. Make a cool tube, and buy a humidifier

I did buy a humidifier lol

Also bought one of those big high velocity fans like we use at autobody shops. When I get a new reflector I will buy a 8" inline fan (S & P TD200x) to exhaust the heat from the light but thats not till next payday. Need a fix until then....

I had the same prob but without cooling your light your only option is let cold air in and spray your plants with water to try to maintain some kind of humidity.Low humidity is better than hot as temps

lower temps increases humidity-colder air holds less moisture

I had a similar problem... i just filed a bucket up with cool water and placed it in the room. my humidity jumped right up to the high 40's from the low 20's while the temp never change (71F)

Yeah I tried the buckets of water too. Worked like a charm with the LED panels. Once I got the 600 watter I had to keep the fan on and the door open. That killed my humidity level. Hope plants will still be okay by the time the guy sends me the new filters for the humidifier.

if you have a humidifier, make a shelf for it about 5 foot on the wall so its spraying the mist across the grow space, not just spitting it off the floor. have the direction of your fan on it too.

Lol, i didnt know you didnt have an exhaust/intake system set up. I guess its obvious what you need to do

Well after only 2 weeks, my damn 600 watt AgroMax bulb from HTG blew . I had upgraded from that Glowbright bulb to avoid a situation like this. Oh well....Who makes a 6oo watt bulb that will last longer? Im going to try and see if I can order one overnight from somewhere......plants will probably die

Wont that cause the bulb to burst....again lol? I hear if they get wet then they pop quick. Plus I bought a big humidifier. Its about 3 feet high standing off the floor. Can just sit it on a box or something though.
Well I guess its back to the LEDs for me right now
