What is it called, I ended up with it trying to make oil, I'd done it a half dozen times and always got oil, the only difference being that time was instead of evaporating the butane in the bowl I poured it onto water to speed up the process.
It's always been a mystery and no ones ever known wtf I'm talking about lol.
Isopropyl makes some good hash too. I like to let it sit a few seconds so it makes a dark brown putty instead of gold powder.

I always just made small amounts by crumbling some bud into a shot glass, pouring iso on top and then filtering it onto a glass plate.
After that it dries in a couple minutes especially if you put a fan by it. Kinda like how BHO boils at room temp until the butane is gone.

It's about the lowest quality hash possible, so I wouldn't want to cook with it. It's good to ingest on its own. It's essentially Rick Simpson oil.

The method I read said that with iso the longer it sits the lower quality it’ll be. I love the brown putty stuff which i had to let it sit for maybe 10 seconds max to get. I tried it just running straight through by putting bud on a screen and pouring iso over it. That ended up the tan keif powder.
Idk how much difference it actually makes but it was fun to mess with.

We used to make it in the late 90s and feel like chemists with our crackly sludge. ha. I'll take it over some of the runny black unpurged BHO I used see people trying to get off.
