OK.. We ASSume you have been on some sort of proper time schedule-[24/0--20/4--18/6] ? Like sheldonblack said /\ change the lighting to 12 hours of light/12 dark... It takes about 7-14 days to convert from veg to bud... so... Good Luck ??

Thanks for the replies. It's in the living room and not getting the 12 hrs of complete darkness. Until now. The sun came up around 6 today so into the darkness at 6pm. It has single hairs and I think that means it's female. She's actually a few plants together. Yes, I'm an amateur. I'll try to figure out how to post a picture next...

...you're kidding right? ...don't tell me you're so lazy you can't even research THIS?

...so does this mean you'll be needing someone to hold your hand all the way through to the end?

...you get back what you put in grasshopper and it looks like you aren't willing to put any effort in so it's unlikely you will reap any rewards, ...free weed ain't free, it requires a fair bit of knowledge gained through experience coupled with a modicum of labor that becomes less over time as you learn your chops but it's you that has to give a shit enough to do some fucking homework.

Haha, I love bozos comments. He's a straight shooter, that's for sure. And then at the end he signs his name, but its hard to tell if its a signature or if he's referring to the person he's talking to. Nyuck nyuck nyuck.

A few plants together in the same pot? I hope they're at least all the same strain....

Anyway, since it doesn't sound like you've done much research on growing, congrats on getting the plant to big and leafy! Yes, just put it in 12 hours of darkness (no light leaks) each day and assuming you luck out in every other aspect, in about two months you'll have plants ready to harvest...and done right that process takes about 6-8 weeks.

And BTW, if they haven't started stinking, they will soon!

Good luck!

...that my friend would be in the eye of the intended reader to decide, lol, if the clown fits i think the reader knows it.

...mostly though it's just my name and i use it to remind myself not to be arrogant, ...but it's real hard when there are so many questions that are so braindead easy to find answers for.

...i've spent HUNDREDS of hours reading through HUNDREDS of threads over the years on the topic and i actually enjoy saving new people time by sharing some of that experience but i don't have time to explain why water is wet, ...finding answers to the simple questions demonstrates a willingness to learn that earns a person some respect, ...which means asking idiot simple questions actually robs you of respect, ...most especially, self-respect.

peace, bozo

You do some homework just like everyone else that wants a good grow. Everything worthwhile takes some time and learning and this will as well. Get the right lights, light cycle, pH, nutes, etc., etc, etc . There, you have it.

Haha, yeah I was just kidding, in my head head i did read it that way, tho, but that was just stoned me lol.

To the OP, it is a really good point. If you want to really impress yourself (and maybe a buddy or two) and enjoy some killer, top shelf quality smoke in the coming months then you have to put in the work. There are tons (a lot more than you'd think) of beginners on here who have grown phenomenal plants their first time around, but there's not one single person who did it by planting a seed and hoping for someone to tell them how to do it. We all (newbies and experts alike) put in a lot of time and effort into Google, forums, grow articles, you tube videos, and anything else that you can find info from.

Don't be afraid to take it step by step. Break it down- study the plant, and what it needs. Study the nutrients, and how the plant uses them. And what kinds are out there. My grow is organic, most nutes are synthetic. They both get great results, but both are mixed, stored, and used differently, and they affect the plants in different ways soon you need to know what you have. They can affect your pH, and their effects are directly related to pH, so study pH after. You don't have to (nor will you) figure it out all at once, so get started now! Lol. I'm 8 weeks as of tpday, but I'm letting mine run a few more days and I just started researching harvesting aand curing about a week ago.

But as stated above, if you've made it this far then you've obviously done something right. Pics are easy, there's a sticky (permanent thread at the top of the thread page) about how to post pictures, all you have to do is click the button to the left of the video clip (where all the little pictures are, up by the smiley face) and post us some pivs. Don't be afraid to ask questions, like if you need help determining sex. Just be prepared in advanced by googling or you tubing a thing or two. Knowing a few terms help, I suggest reading the vocabulary/commonly used terms sticky, also. If I was a really big help I would link this stuff but this post has gone on long enough, lol. Sorry I'm medicated.

Good luck! Show us some pics!

Just wanted to add, the reading never stops.

I continuously read articles related to growing in general not just specific to MJ.

Reading about photoperiod plants would be a start.

OP There is plenty of info on RIU for the taking should you wish to look for it.

Dont be a lazy stoner and expect to be spoon fed.

I completely agree with Thor. Growing takes ALOT of work, indoors or outdoors. And not to mention all the research that needs to be done. This was my first year and ill admit I was fairly well educated about cannabis but I quickly became overwhelmed. I just bit the bullet and worked my ass off. No doubt I missed a few things and cut a few corners but now it's harvest time and I'm reaping rewards from my hard work. I had trouble keeping up with my garden and I don't work- I do have a disability that keeps me off my feet the majority of the day. Bottom line, you need to invest a lot of time and tons of hard work along with as much research as possible if you want to grow some top-shelf buds.

12/12 schedule, good soil, fluorescents and plant food are making finally start to flower!

Should I do some trimming? To divert energy? Lots of leaves...
