how do I mix my dirt up?

Im tryin soil for the first time ever just for fun/curiousity..I have organic soil,perlite,blood meal and bone meal..how do I mix it up? Can someone give me a formula like 50%soil, 25% perlite,etc..i tried askin this in the organic section with no luck..thanks

i got a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, threw my mg organic soil in there with a bag of perlite. then i guess you could just add what ever they say on the bags of neuts. then just put the lid on, and shake!

It sounds good to me. What's the vendor make of the organic soil?

Here's what i use & it makes a beautiful mixture,very liight & easy for the roots to grow through,excellent drainage,lots of built in nutrients from the top soil,just dont use potting soil with time release ferts in it,also make sure the top soil is screened & the potting soil is steralized.

Potting soil 40%

Perlite 30%

Top soil 20%

Sand 10%
