Whether Ed Rosenthal said it or not, why deprive a plant of light when you don't need to? EVERYONE flowers on 12/12 and it ALWAYS does EXACTLY what its supposed to do. I'm just a guy who thinks that plants should get as much light as possible. During veg, I leave the light on 24/0 and for flowering I put it on 12/12 (like everyone else except you)... and this go around, I think I'm gonna give my plants 48 hours of straight light for the 2 days prior to harvesting. "As much light as possible" is my philosophy.

At the last few days of flowering some growers give there plants a few extra hours of darkness, even up to 24 hours of darkness to help with the resin's final production. Lowering light times throughout flowering is not the reccomended way to go.
