If you need heat and are in a cold climate use hps or metal halide lights, or ceramic lights. LEDSare for warmer climates.
leds are great though but only the driver gets warm, not near the cobs or quantum boards.
If you want a carbon filter get a 150mm one and a centrigual fan of 150mm and 150mm ducting.
Get a tent between 160cm and 2m high three or four foot wide and 2-3 foot deep.
If you're growing near a "lights on all the time spot" like lounge room etc like in a studio apartment you will need a good tent like gorrilla tents.
Unless you're only growing autos. Most seeds especially fem seds are suseptible to light coming into the tent in dark cycle.Which may cause hermies or extend flowering time. a few small holes wont matter but best if there are no holes or light coming our/in to your tent
I would set the carbon filter next to the tent with air blowing into the filter, not the other way around (this is a mistake i made in my setup as my 3ft wide 2ft deep and 160cm high tent has only room for a 2ft by 2ft scrog or sog. i should have had the carbon filter outside my tent.
even though carbon filters dont work as well that way (dont quote me on that) never tried it.
Also you cant silence the fan that way.
Get a 300 watt LED from timber, spiderfarmer or the latest mars hydro leds. 300 watt from the wall.the old mars hydros were shitty the new ones ive been told are great and they are cheap.
I would forget about the aquarium and use a tent with 12 - 20 litre pots. hand watered, soil or coco or perlite depending on your climate.
perlite works well when its cold as it has good drainage., that i use in a medeteranium climate (35-40' c in summer 5' - 30' c in winter)
You might need to put a hole in the ceiling for exaust or vent hot air out your window. a empty air conditioner can be made into a stealth air exaust out your wiindow. only needed if using hps or metal halides etc. not needed for leds.
