yep just as youd take any other cutting, 45 degree cut, dip in rooting hormone, its not essential but helps success rates, then into your rooting medium.
i use jiffy pellets or even faster, growth technology root riot cubes, get roots in 8-10days with em, theyre both organic and bio-degradeble etc etc, then into your propagator under propagation lighting, lifting lid off two-three times a day for fresh air and lightly mist once a day until rooted. not too sure how rooting outside or with no lights would go though, my veg/prop room is a constant 23-25*c which afaik a pretty consistent warm temp is fairly important to the rooting of cuttings.
