Not sure you can do it without a fence, someone else might know better.
I dont have a dog but my friend has always had dogs and knows of no method.

But maybe try putting the pot on top of a table or high chair?
It might even improve the lighting so you don't have to move it around as much.

Fingers crossed, good luck lol.

Blood meal, bone meal, fish meal, and other organics will attract unwanted animals. Either get your dogs, or your plants, behind a fence. The solutions are obvious.

Give Them A Bunch Of Dope One Day And They Will Never Go Near Them Again. Or They Will become Addicts And Eat ALL Of Your Weed.

Two options come to mind. Chili pepper spray or tin foil. I have a 80 lb bubba gump german shepherd that is 2. He loves getting into things, both have worked on anything I put them on too keep him away. Dogs hate foil (my couch is living testament) and chilli peppers work for almost all animals. Look up DIY chilli spray animal repellent or some such on google. Tons of stuff.

I'm a CPDT dog trainer. You certainly can train your dogs not to dig at your pots, and it doesn't have to be unpleasant for either you or the dogs. It will, however, take some work and you can't let the dogs out alone in the yard without supervision while you train them because digging and eating your plants is self-reinforcing (or else they wouldn't be doing it). My guess is it'll take 2-3 weeks if your dogs already know some basic cues, longer if you haven't taught them anything at all. But it's totally doable.

If you pm me, I'll be glad to give you some direction.

Habanero spray! There is a sticky here somewhere on how to make it to combat spider mites.
That crap doesnt do anything except burn your eyes with pepper spray, its hilarious to watch. Maybe itll kill the dog but it doesnt kill mites worth a damn :):):)

The Foil would be training. Wrap it around the pot and some of the top. They will not touch it. Test it yourself, dogs will have nothing to do with it.

thanks guys lots of great suggestions foil chilli pepper and more training i love my dogs so violence is out of the question and they protect the plants as much as destroy them so getting rid of them is not a option dam shitbag thiefes lol there mastiff cross dane so awesome security police wont even go out back lol and kryptonite i spend lots of time training and playing with them they know sit lye down shake come stay ones 12 months old the other 10 months so im hoping its just a phase or hydroponics looks to be the other option thanks again guys your all absolute legends going to wrap some foil and spray some chilli pepper legends cheers

just kidding. theres a whole list of beneficial plants that you can "companion plant" with your mj to fend away animals.
chicken wire really helps too, with those nice green stakes thats made for the chicken wire

yea i know but better the dog with a bit of training than a shitbag thief with a bit of training light fingered lazy shits are a bit of a problem in my area and i would just attache the wire to the bucket right could i use these as a lst method as well or would the wire burn the plant as the sun is pretty fierce were i am im aussie in western regions heats 40 degrees celsius and higher through summer
