long story short i wont be smokinin front of my mom but atleast she'll know what the smell is i can now smoke in my own house yay!

I knew someone that got their dad to smoke a bowl when he was drunk. They were in the car going for cigs and he hit the bowl with them. He claimed he wasn't high, but would not stop bitching about how thirsty he was.
Mine used to be control freaks, but I drifted completely away from them, once when I was living at home my mom went through my kitback and found a bong and a bag of weed. She like....cried lmao. Then I laughed and told her I could be doing worse things, and even that glass of red wine she cherishes so much at night could be comparable to this...and I got the "well it's illegal" and I exploded and yelled at her like never before...a good 5 minute rant about why weed is illegal and she kind of shut up closed the bag and put it back in my closet gently because of the bong and walked out quietly. My parents aren't cool with it...they just know whether or not it doesnt matter lol, so they've "given up" on me in a sense....we're two different kind of ppl and if your parents don't toke ever either, and it sounds like they don't then maybe you need to relize they aren't so much like you.
if ur a responsible and get all your shit done then just tell them straight out. remember to tell them how long u've been using it, the longer the better. like say "i've been smokin da shit for 10 yrs and i still got my shit together and im not addicted plus im not using other harder drugs. you will feel much better i just did the same a month ago but my parents knew i smoke but didnt approve and i denied i smoke but i knew they knew wen they saw my blood shot eyes.

but (brings back memories)when i was 16 still at home i came home from school on this particular day,
as i came through the gate i saw my oz hanging from the close line in plain site.
well i thought to myself man am i gonna cop it .and steeled myself for the up coming floggin.
as i walk inside the house my mom say sorry son but i washed you'r whoopie weed (as she called it) and i hung it on the line to dry i hope it is still ok.
well you could have dropped me with a feather.
so my parent were cool with me smoking weed and to this day they still come out to look at my succulent reds as they call them now.
so just be honest...

i got off light since my dad smoked it n since i was livin wif my mum she didnt no i kept all my stuff hidden in my room tried to hide the smell n afta a while mum asked if i was smoking weed n i sed yer n all she sed to me was juss stay out of trouble n dont go on to anyfin harder. so yeah it pays to b honest ur parents may not like that u smoke it but they cant really stop u.

Dude if you haven't changed and they haven't noticed a difference in how you act or anything why would they dispute it? They wouldn't really have a reason too apart from maybe if its illegal in your state. Your choice is what you choose to do, and if it's causing no harm why should it bother them?

i luv weed, and i love my fam but they don't know i smoke WHATSOEVER i don't even portray a stoner i mean i used to run track in high school and still stay in shape now.
but i'm really tired of saying i'm going to the store when they come visit to hit a 1/4 of a damn blunt b4 someone comes lookin,
i'm even more tired thaqt in my own damn house i have to run to the bedroom to cover my bloodshot eyes and lie in bed not able to satisfy my munchies or dry mouth or the high.
can yall help me? right now the only idea i have is to just light up a blunt in front of everyone like it's normal, offer them all a hit get them high and we live happily ever after
but i know that's not gonna work once when i was 15 i was makin a bong in the bathroom when my older sister bust in and she didn't talk 2 me 4 like a month but i was kinda like "well fuck u too then"
any help guyz?

Pretty much, it's your life... not theirs, don't be ashamed of who you are and if they start bitching just say "alright, I think you've overstayed your welcome, goodbye" and kick them out... I'm lucky my parents were accepting and fully supportive.

My parents bought me my first glass pipe when I was 17 so I really haven't experience what you are dealing with. I would imagine just telling the truth would lighten your load;but your own soul at peace. I mean, at first they may be upset but I believe eventually they will realize what a insignificant detail it really is in the whole scheme of things. Pot is given such a bad rap when in reality it is MUCH safer than alcohol which is legal only because the government can tax the shit out of it. They can't control who grows pot...Off of subject. Just be honest, my husband's family is uber religious (1/2 Johovah's witness 1/2 Morman) and he told them he smokes up all the time. He was really nervous about it too. I got snapped with some mates and a bong when I was 14, my mother had recently stopped smoking it, and my dad still smokes now. My mother told me not to do it until I was out of school. Fuck that. My dad just told me not to get caught, although he would prefer it if I didn't. I told them it was my first time, and we only had a little, and that I wouldn't do it again. I'm somethingteen now, and have been smoking since I got caught, don't know what they would do if the found out, shit my dad probably knows anyway lol.
