how do i upload video???

ive been trying to upload a video update for my journal and i cant figure it out.does this site only except certain formats or what,if anyone can give me a step by step that would be great,thanks

you don't upload videos here, you can display a youtube video by puting the youtube link in the proper brackets [video] at the begining
and [/video at the end I left the closing bracket off so you could see it

so i have to put the video on youtube then put the youtube link on my post.

well thats kinda sucky we cant upload right to the sight,oh well,thanks for the help,plus rep as promised for the info
