Sorry for late answers....... I'm planning on having enough of them to have AT LEAST 14G-1OZ, so like, many but I will let them veg til like 2nd nodes and then turn to flower... sounds good?
Height & width is a concern for me... I really need em to be fuckin TINY as fuck. . .My seeds are mostly feminized & none autos
Why not use a large (wide and shallow pot? ) and grow a single plant? .You tie her up in veg (LST) and you gain in height ,and grow several healthy colas instead of several plants with single colas?

check my sig ,I grow in 1g rectangular pot ,lots of pics and you can see how stretching has evolved....

I didn't do any root trimming ,I only kept the light as close as possible at all times.
i accidentally did this on some autos... just my keeping them to close to the light..... kinda screwed myself in the end... but its cool though their preflowering now all about 8 to 10 inches tall.!! lol gast and vast and 1 nycd. also didnt trim roots... used cfls

I remember seeing posts on RIU of people growing ganja from day one to harvest in a party cup.. I just need some headers on how that is possible !!!!! They stayed super small & Produced very little bud.. but I found that so extremely awesome & if I could have many of them I could end up harvesting at least 14 g's to an oz ..?
So.. yeah, if any of you got XP or know anyting bout dis , DO SHARE INFO THANKS yallllllllllll:bigjoint:

I was afraid of that too.....in my case I've grown a dwarf strain (SS#1 ) ,and used a 1 gallon pot.
I didn't take a look at the roots yet ,but I will harvest in a couple of days and take a pic of the root mass ,I'm also curious about what happened down there.
haha im waiting on same thing... i wanna see those roots...! ill take a pic in a min to show you.

How do you negate the effects of being root bound? Because I thought having a small pot or big pot allows moisture to either stay longer or drain quicker... amirite?.. not so irrelevant to me..
By keeping the cycle as short as possible and feeding. No veg time, just straight 12/12 from seed. You can top to keep the height down. Then just let it ride till she's done. It's actually a pretty space efficient way to grow.

If height is an issue, use food storage containers. They're much shorter and wider than party cups.

Just don't do what I did last comp and douse your plants with concentrated silica solution...

If you want them to be as tiny as possible though you can just go 12/12 from seed like others have said rather than bothering to veg them but youd need like at least 10 plants prolly to get 14-28g out of plants seeing as itll be your first time growing, if your trying to hide this from your parents though thatll make things harder cos you cant just leave them on the window sill or anything so youll need lights and hiding lights from people is a pain in the ass without having a separate grow room. I'd suggest you looked into guerilla growing if you have a way to get out into the country cos then you could just grow out 1-2 plants properly and youd easily get an ounce, probably more
