Don't worry about the bottom leaves your plan is going to sacrifice them during flower. Slow down on the watering be sure they really need to be watered when you do water them. Wait for them to wilt a little bit, feel the pot and then water. Btw you'll need more than big bloom to finish these.

What else should I use I got a bottle of fox farm big bloom its my first time growing and I think they turned out good other then the bottom leaves but thanks for the info

Can fan leaves get to long n heavy n they look like they are wilting and in need of water but still are wilting after I water

Check out my Dutch passion orange bod. Spent half her life tied down. Those are all bottom branch colas. With the others catching up. It's growing under a vertical 400hps.
I see your tie down plant and raise you my deck scrogs. same tang;) right now they are tarped bc i have 75 mph winds with hail and rain (mother natures a beoootch today)20150713_125841.jpg20150713_125841.jpg

Those are going to be huge! Nice color also. Tarp is a good idea, mine only go out once or twice a week. 6 out of 9..are tied down and I have to say the number of colas are 5 to 6 times compared to my untouched ones. Much easier to manage. You grow strictly outside?
