Your right, just brought in the matamuska thunder-fook, catapillars found something they like...oh well! part of the risk we take? 100% organicNot for very much longer LOL! The reeper is coming SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too bad you can't make some furniture out of the Trunks! The fan leaves are mulch material. We have a harvest party and burn the stalks in our bonfire...
It's nice waking up anyday...lol After the storm we had, it's kinda not as nice. Had a couple of the girls get top heavy and lean over.. couple broke branches, now have to wait and watch for mold. Winds are drying everything out but there's always a chance the mold will start..will get pics today,,,Too bad you can't make some furniture out of the Trunks!
Must be nice to wake up to that Beautiful view everyday....Much Props...Grow on brother.
here's some caterpillar damage...ahhhhBT - Organic catapillar killer. Pheromone traps also remove the males so they cant mate and produce less catapillars (organic birth control). Can probably use a rose systemic for those catapillars too, early though.
ouch... mine are getting there...here's some caterpillar damage...ahhhh
I'm old fashioned..hate to use pestacides of any type.tried the praying mantis this year and they didn't do the job, will be trying the wasps next season. If I lose 25% of my crop I can live with that, won't like it, but?..Maybe you just have a large infestation or bt resistant catapillers. I have killed all of mine and I have 3 different types. Takes about 3-4 days. Put some live ones in a jar after you spray them and see if it kills them. Is your bt new or old? Never heard it not work. Maybe you need to try the tobacco tea spray.
Waiting for them to get done, will be doing some cutting this week. Have 1 and 1/2 drying but they were damaged and had to cut early. It was 82 degrees here today so they are enjoying the warm cali sun...lolwhen are you going to harvest bro?
