Day 17.
300w dual spec CFL & reflector.
Plant Canopy temps: 24-29
Good air exchange in tent (4x2x6) and air circulation.
Gro sure vegetable compost 1/4 perlite.
2x sweet sweet train wreck auto
1x Fast & Vast auto (was 2 one was a dud seed) in 12L pots with good drainage.
Added nutes 3 days ago 5-3-3 organic stuff at 1/4 strength not going too for another week just water for now as soil will have nutes in.
So that's where I'm at any advise and how do they look to you?
1st grow and only for personal sick of meeting people in track suits on street corners for a underweight Quater.
Done a lot of research before posting this just anything extra anyone can throw is more than welcome :)
Thanks for looking my fellow enthusiasts!

Should I be concerned about the leafs in the pot? sometimes touching the soil or will all of this grow up rather than out? Also it all seems bunched up together is there any point I should consider removing the big fan leaves as I've seen it duscussed before obviously I'm not going to do anything drastic as that until I have educated myself about it!
Thanks again people's

LEAVE THE LEAVES ALONE!!!!!!!!!! :)

Just let the little gal's do their thing. The leaves on the soil line might get damaged when you feed but it's no big deal. Just let 'em grow.

When they are 2 feet tall then maybe think about removing some leaves if you need to :)

Also got a tiny bit of plant stink going on when I open the tent and stick my nose in lol not a bud smell yet (i wish lol) also never sexed a plant before but that really doesn't look difficult. Fem seeds so should be female anyways

2 more weeks and I bet they will be showing without you having the switch the lights to 12/12. The calyx and pistil will grow in when the plant hits sexual maturity, they are just really small. :)

When using CFL's - it's good to also use a few "red" only LED ($10.00) - because the cfl's lack a good red light spectrum - but that being said they ,cfls', do produce very good yield's !! - and are cheap to run Never heard of "dual" spectrum bulbs just ones 2400K or 5000K never a dual ! were to get one ?

You can even go 24/0 on auto's. Didn't realize that's what they were. Definitely leave the leaves alone. Stressing autos can fuck up flower.

They are autos on a 18/6 cycle and I do not plan on changing that from my research this is the best way.
18/6 from beginning to end :)
no not really. it depends as often on the strain. some autos love 18/6 some 20/4 and some even do great with "12/1"

my opinion: they look good.

They look good. Listen to Mr. Head about the leaves. The worst thing that might happen is the bottom leaves touching the soil may yellow and die off - it's really not a problem. Just leave it alone and let it grow.
