I been checkin it out, if i grew more plants, thats the same type setup id have too, maybe id use t5 4 footers for top lights as i tend to bend the colas down as shown.
Do the side lights move up and down?

I adjust the lights nightly, rearranging extensions, and splitters, and yes, raisin and lowerin lights

Oh sorry for over posting, I see that your using Tech 5's are you using both warm and blue?

Thanks for the kind words, I've been using the 3000K T5s throughout flowering, along with 2700K 42w cfls.

Nice grow man. I have the same light setup that you have. Well, I am assuming those are 2' T5 bulbs. I am a first time grower. Have you flowered with those bulbs before? So far I have not had any light issues. I have the blooming bulbs for when I flower. I noticed you added in some CFL's, did you find you needed more light?

I've only flowered one other plant
Only used the T5 no real side lighting
lsted it but only got 1/2 oz
Strain + not enough lighting
with T5 and 4 42W cfl (2 rear lighting + 2 front)
What a difference
Plus Strain is so much faster and
less tempermental.
The Purps took 3 months for 1/2 oz (i did cut a bit early)
This Kush was planted Dec 5th and Im close to cutting Feb 1
Crystals went from powdered sugar looking to cinnamon frosted leaves
1/31/09 on side buds, letting main colas go
not quite "looking" done.
Next grow same set up cept 3 42w cfls front and back and a cab replaces closet
I'll post pics tomorrow morning of buds i harvest

Looks really nice. I am doing a second cabinet for flower with that same fixture from htg. Except I took two of those fixtures and combined them, so now there are 4 55w compact t-5 bulbs under the hood. I plan on a horizontal scrog. Its nice to know the fixture does good for flower with the 3000k bulbs. Veg is great with the 6500s. Excellent small grow! BTW, you would really benefit from a screen.
