how do you find the light schedule for where you live?

im planing on starting a grow this summer and was wondering if there was anywhere that told light schedules.
 
yea the sun. i found one that tells you the rise and set of anyday you type in, but i want to no when i wld be able to see if there mae or female to pull the males.

umm... that's pretty much a crap shoot. They're going to sex when they're ready to sex. There is no way to pin an exact date down by the schedule of the sun. Usually the company you buy (if you buy them) the seeds from give you a rough estimate of veg and flower periods.
 
alright thanks i guess ill have to be on the look out for when they want to this will be my first time growing outside i screwed up last year trying to make plans set
 
Well if you gonna put some plants outside. I would start them inside in some small pots in April and then get them acclimated outside by the end of May and then you'll be ok so they'll yield some weight. This year I'll grow outside again, the last 5 years has been only indoor growing for me
 
yea i plan on starting as many as i can in my house and moving them to the backyard till i have to many and move them to the location i was just seeing if there was a easy way to tell when to go look for males

wwww.theweathernetwork.com Show's sunrise and sunset schedules. The weather history record are quite nifty too, I use it to make simple time predictions, as well as using it to compare how this summers crop can compare to the last, based on lighting and rain issues, etc.
 
hey this kinda fits my question so next year im planning on ordering some seeds and starting them inside to give them an early start cuase i do live in canada but can i use a 24h light cylce or do i have to use the same amount of light that will be outside when i put them out there on there own. answers would be appreiciated this is my first attempt.
