How do you know when bud is fully cured?

It's been almost 3 months since I harvested and have been curing. The month after I chopped I smoked my bud and I didn't feel much just a little head change, then the second month it got better, coming around the 3rd month now I can feel "high". What is the reason for this happening, I've only ever had 1 successful grow from 3 attempts, so this was my first time drying and curing. I feel that I dried it correctly (around 2 weeks) as my bud was almost crispy dry and after jarring them their humidity went from 52 to 60 within a few days. So my questions are is it still too wet or is curing just going to take longer before it's considered smokeable?

My drying technique is putting it on a drying rack with fans blowing on it at medium ish speed, didn't really control Temps as I couldn't afford an ac.
For how long? What were the temps? What was the humidity sitting at?
Fans Shouldn’t be blowing wind directly on the buds. They’ll dry too fast. Chopping early can leave a bad taste & burn like a trap house on the 4th of July. Sparks & shyt.. Just take it as a lesson learned.

Let me elaborate, just so I can remove this bioscience from my brain or try to confirm it. I will call this person a close friend. We grew identical cuts at the same time. He kept his ec high around 2.5 in dwc pushing lots of flower feed all the way to the end.

I also in dwc don't smash my plants with nutrients at that high of an ec all the way to the end.

His plants leaves at chop still had not yellowed but were totally purple and brittle, would break if you fucked with them almost petrified. The smoke wash harsh and tasted like a bad dry. Idk maybe he did dry it badly.

My cut was not as purple, not brittle, and not harsh.

So I truly thought it was basicly heavy metal petrified

And my bet his plants finished way to early and were fried?

Now that you mentioned this, I know what the issue is, I'll make sure to do it properly next time.
