How Do You Tag Your Plants?

i didnt know what section to put this in, so i threw it here. how do you guys put the name of the strain on the plant? i was thinking of zip tying a waterproof tag of some kind to the stem. i dont know where i could get those tags though. i dont want to write it on the pot either because i want to use them next grow.

so what do you use? any tips?
 
put a peg on a branch, stick a piece of duck tape on the pot and write on that, put an ice lolly stick in the soil, buy a gardening plastic name tag as used in every gardening centre and nursery.
 
Duct tape on the pot then sharpie it. No matter how much I move plants around I know exactly what strain it is, and the important dates (clone/seed date, moved to veg date, and moved to flower date).

This is my suggestion too, Tape then sharpie. Works perfect everytime =D
 
Yup I use blue painters tape and a sharpie. Which reminds me, every time I use a sharpie I always smell the tip. Why is that?
 
What about for outdoors?? Planting str8 into the ground?? I stick a bamboo steak in the ground and sharpie the stick.
 
i use a sharpie right on the pot and date it.

next time around, i scribble that out and label/date it again. writing the date is a BIG HELP.

often i forget to do this, but can always tell by the characteristics in late flower.

check your local marts. ie walmart kmart. they might have them oin the gardening section. check at nuresery. snag a bunch of tung depressers from your family doctor.
 
I use MASKING TAPE and a SHARPIE...



also how I label my weed jars.. you can rip off masking tape easy..

i use a 99 cent store calender for everything i do to my girls. last year i has a badass ferret one

same with me, mine start in cups with the info written on the side, when i transplant i cut the cup into a little sign and pop it in the soil
Recently i have been using Herb-IQ to track so i just write the name on the smartpot and let the computer do the work
