How do you tell if the bud you are buying is good or not good?

The number one tell tale is the pungent smell...Very strong and a bit sticky.....Of coarse if you don't know the differance....you'd get stoned off of anything....enjoy what you have available.....
no gangsters in my town and usally when you buy bags they usally don't come with seeds or stems if there are stems tiny lil ones but thats only for lil bags of bud

i live in BC... the land of weed and heres its $10 a gram $25-$30 an eighth (3.5g), $50-$60 a quarter (7.0g), $100-$120 for a half oz (14.0g) and $200-$220 for an oz (28.0g)
you can get hooked up depending on who you know but for the most part thos are the prices for regular joe. 1/4 pound usually goes for $500-$600, and a pound can go from $1800- $2600, this all depends on the strain and how good the bud is...i dont fuck with shitty bud so i dont know how much it is for it

if you can roll it in a blunt with out licking the paper because it just that sticky, its exotic lol, and just like everyone said, if it smells and looks good, does it really matter, you are gonna be high Not to long ago my friend and i got some shit, it was flat and ugly and didn't even look like weed, so we vapo'd it to get the most out of it, and it does so if it looks like shit try vaporizing it. They have plenty of DIY vapos on youtube

well if you really want to know how good the bud is. Get your microscope out... that you should already have, for checking when to harvest. I put it up to your bud, look at the trichome developement. I recently did this with some mids, and there wasnt to many trichomes, compared to my white widow.
If you dont have a microscope ( which you should, as a grower) Go to radioshack, and pick up a 10$ one, and see which bud is really worth the price.

The guys that i buy my kind bud from got more worried about the money than the weed. Checked it out with a scope and it wasnt even close to done. People were buying it for 50 an 8th too. I bet they had to smoke the whole sack to get stoned

With prices like those I'd never buy less than an oz. The smaller quantities seem high in relation to the price of an oz.If it's 185 an oz.ahalf should be more like 100,at least around here.
