how do you use ph kit

i have a ph kit with the little bottles of indicater solution and it doesnt say how many drops to use anyone know?

The kit I have from the pet store uses three drops of solution per test. They also say to hold the bottle completely upside down so all drops are uniform in shape. I guess they want it to be pretty exact.
