how does the rep system work?

the title says it all but just wondering if any body can explain the rep system to me so i can start helping out all those that help me

Basically, if someone gives you a decent response that is helpful or insightful, you can give them a "rep", and there "status" will go up. Kind of like a "like" but for potheads. Good luck and good growing

just click on the little star icon next to where it says journal this post, under neath every ones post.
