How does this sound for my first grow?

Okay, so I'm gonna grow for the first time. I'm not looking for pounds upon pounds of buds, but a semi-large and quality yield would be nice. So please tell me how my first setup rates in specs:
Northern Lights, feminized.
hanging socket (I'm growing in a box)
Y socket adapter
40w 6500k cfl and 13w 2700k cfl (sidebar: I might switch one of those bulbs with a 100w hps bulb during flower time)
Aluminium foil (yes, you read that right, so sue me.)
12-5-7 solid soil fertilizer
tap water
5-gallon rectangular storage container
lst training
cola FIM-ing
manual timing schedules

Also, would it be alright if I cut vegging short so that I get the buds before winter break?

I'm not taking any cheap shots so dont be offended I'm hear to help and just trying to figure a few things out and get a little more info. If I come off wrong forgive me but again just trying to help I like to see everyone achieve their goals.

1. strain choice is good
2. hanging socket with cfl will be ok for a box style grow.... what is the size of your box
3. why are you using foil you would be better off painting a flat white or buying panda film or mylar.... really not the expensive not sure of your buget
4. solid soil fertilizer.. Please explain this a little
5. Tap water is ok make sure you bubble it what is the ppm of the tap might be a problem if to hard\
6. 5 gal container will give you a good yeild if done correctly
7. lst is good but alot of work
8. it is easier to top then FIM..... IMO
9. Again not sure of you money but I wouldn't suggest manual timing you can buy a timer for around $20-30
10. Where is your intake/exhaust, carbon filter, osilating fan, are you using any nutes and yes it is possible before winter break

Basically i say ur alright to go with a small grow, but as above said, an electric timer would be a good idea, and u want airflow, so get some fans in there

dont use foil it creates hot spots and reflects more heat than light. paint it white or use mylar.
some fireblankets are made out of mylar if i remember correctly

Sorry for late response, but I'm gonna use foil cuz I'm not really scared of uneven light distribution so long as it doesn't burn. I'll probably order a timer online. And I'm not gonna make an airflow system since it's only one plant and I don't plan on selling the yield. I'll probably shake the plant to remove mold spores and whatever crap can build up on it.

But except that, it's good right? How much yield should I expect?
