how early in the flowering stage am I? Also, judging from the photos, how are things?

Grow friends,

here is an update from a while ago. I was wondering how much longer I'm going to have to wait till
harvest?
Also, I'm having some pretty damning problems with space. I'm probably going to invest in a grow tent,
but for the moment, to avoid the plants going into the light, I've had to tie them down. BTW, these are
autos...

Aside from lack of space, there is also poor circulation. I need to get a fan in there. I keep it open while as much as possible
for oxygen, but when I close it, humidity creeps in big time, and creates a lot of moisture. So there are some big problems with
the set up, which I can't solve right away. But given the issues, how do things look?

I've been going easy on the nutes and don't water excessively to reduce humidity, also have a sunblaster as extra lighting- its supposed to work for both phases.

thanks for taking a look and any advice you might have!

best,

You are so early as to barely be in it. Maybe 2 weeks depending. Next feeding use GROW nutes again. Water, water. Then a REDUCED feeding of bloom nutes. Now is when any calcium and magnesium deficiencies will appear if they are going to. Beat that crap by adding cal/mag in reduced amounts (when I say reduced I mean reduced from what the labels says - they just want to sell the stuff and lots of it). One feeding of bloom nutes is all that is needed in most cases. Read the plant, not posts on here. The cal/mag may need a second shot if the plant indicates the need.

The reason IMO why we see so many immature plants being harvest on this site is because people get all caught up in how many days a plant is supposed to go according to the breeder. Breeders flowering times are the biggest myth in growing. I have never counted the days of any of my grows and the reason for that is a plant is not finished until it is finished and that is not determined by how many days its been growing it is determined but the ripeness of the bud. Every year the breeders shorten the listed flowering times of there strains to attract more business and now we have a bunch of noobs cutting plants when they arent even close to being finished but they cant accept that because the breeder said it would be done in 8 weeks. There are hundreds of strain out there that claim 8 week flowering times. I have grown damn near 100 strains now and I am here to tell you there is no such strain as an 8 week strain.

Dude,

Depending on strain your plants will continue to grow in flower. Indica plants can grow 2 to 3 times the size from when 12/12 was initiated, this growth can go into 3-5 weeks. Sativa, I don't have any personal experience but from what I've read these can grow all the way through till harvest.

Looks good, from the pics look to be 3 weeks into flower.

Cheers

That's some golden advice. I suggest every noob that reads this listens to this man and not bmeat.

Bigv, I agree with your statement but for new growers there needs to be some rules of thumb to go by. After a few grows and trying different things, including letting the plant ripen for longer, they will be able to tell when it really is time to harvest. But by then the graduated grower would have already headed to the more advanced forums.

First grows, Just keep it simple. Only on our mistakes and if we choose to improve, will we actual improve.

I hear what you are saying but I am certainly not the first person to post this. Therefore if the information is on the table and you still choose to do it your way anyhow than that is not a mistake it is stupidity.

Still agreeing with you, but not everyone is able to tell the ripeness of bud, experience or if someone has had the privilege of being taught/shown in person will they really be able to tell.

But yeah, I am also finding those 8,9,10 or 12 weeks on the seed packages are just guides.

are u guys talkn 8weeks from seed or from12/12? ive ran several strains that finish in 56 days from 12/12....gdp, pk, pre98 bubba kush, purple cheese and vortex to name a few. all showed a small % of amber by day 56. i harvest at mostly milky and couldn't even begin to guess a % of clear/cloudy/amber at that point lol
