Patience is the most effective and cheapest way to huge yields ;-)

Definately. But the sooner i could do it the better my grow space isnt to big dont want to overvrow it
do you have pics? I have topped mine and am getting ready to do a second time. How many plants do you have in what size space? also when did you first top them Id say a few days or a week after they resume growth.

my guess is you are growing 1 plant, and to "fill" a grow area with more "tops/ colas" will require more time, than say using 4 or 6 plants in smaller pots , you get tops quicker because there is more to work with, one plant or 4, it can be kept short, but since it feels like your growing 1 plant, the mainlining method, ( I am watching another guy do it right now in his fridge,), can be kept very short, and you get allot of top, and yes, mainling requires more veg time

Better to ask question sooner then when its too late. i top at about the 6 th real node so maybe after 7-8 nodes grow. I wait a bit then remove any lower branches that wont make it to the top of the canopy and may possibly remove one or two more before going to flower. then normally I would start a SCROG but this time I am topping once more to spread the canopy out wider to fill my entire area. might as well use the real estate if its there especially under expensive running HID lights. I would wait to top when you got 7-8 nodes

I wouldn't worry about out growing the space. You can always cut unwanted growth away.

Im actually thinking of germinating another. Top each one to get 4 mains instead just topoing one plant three times to get four. Exceot the plant i have riggt now will be 2 weeks old on sunday. Too much thinking haha. Ill show you what it is. Its a mad tight grow space with lights in the sides so you gotta watch your leaves

thats pretty cool man. I am going to do some reading on it now. Did you ever grow under HPS? just wondering if you have anything to compare it to. I guess space is the major benefit. I am not sure I would top at all it that being as though the lights are on the side. I would think you would want to utilize all vertical space.

I'm leaning more toward this guy's advice. If you don't have much width, and have a lot of height, I'm not sure if I'd top, because that will make her wider too. I alwAys liked lst if you have the width. Add a scrog if you'd like, but make sure you can still inspect her for Herman Cains and pests since she is a seedling. I usually only like running clones in scrog, but that's me because I don't want any potential hermans.
