how effective is this t5?

hi folks. i have a 0.37m2 grow space and i just wondering how effective this light would be

at the moment im using 4cfl lights (1x65w 2700k 2x23w 2700k 1x65w 6400k) and am coming along pretty nicely. just wondering if this would be an improvement??

Here's one with 4 tubes for the same price - much better. Notice they call it a propagation light. But you can flower with t5, just switch to 2700k tubes.

So yes I think THIS one would be an omprovement, especially if you also used the cfls with it.

i use t5 for veg and hps MH combination to flower. but with PAR lighting t5 can do great things! i recommend at least a 4ft 6 bulb(150$) if your going to flower with it. and about 50-80$ in carefully selected light tubes in the proper spectrum which you can buy over time.

as for veg just get the basic 6500k and youll be allright for a while and just upgrade them to nicer bulbs with a good mix of color(deep blue/puplr, blue, white, red ect. most bulbs will be combos of color like dash of red and alot of blue with a spike of green makes sure you check the spectrum charts!but this may be a little advance but youll come back to it anyways!) i would use a enviro light 150w, i cost me 20 pounds and fits most shades you use for 250w/400w/600w hps

i use the one you linked in the op, it's good for cloning domes but that's about it, veg growth is very slow and unimpressive.

The Badboy T-5's are a little high on price but they have worked great for me over the years for clones and all stages of veg

now that looks like a monster. im using 176w at the minute and im getting ok results. might just buy a 150w hps and be done with it. just dont wanna end up with a huge power bill.

i think yow get the same yield from a 150w hps as you would from the 300w cfl

Not very much.

What you need is HO (High Output), T-5's, 55 watts/bulb.

I have a similar size PLL-55, 2 bulbs that puts out 10,000 lumens in a 2'x1' size. I have 2 of them, works great for vegging.

I grew with a 350w dual spectrum last grow not bad results should work well in your grow space.
