How far from transplant? (pics)

It sounds like you are a little mis-informed, if you really want to do this then you should read the grow faq its on the top left. Before I started reading this site I didn't really have a clue. I was hooked for about two weeks reading every day sometimes over 6 hours at a time. I wouldn't take what everone has to tell to heart, most don't know as much as they think. Look at the facts and make your best judgment. Look at other ppl jurnals this will help alot.

You want to use a blue spec. in the veg stage, also 18/6 for the lights or 24/0 I'm sure you could do anything in between but I haven't read about it. Blue spec. is a higher k rating ie 4100, 5000, 6500. I use the 6500k spec. and its a cfl but a bigger one, its 65 watts but puts out around 7000 lumens.

I don't know about that cfl but that they are costly. the red is just the color not spec. of the light. Does that make sence?

I was talking about the cfl that you had in your post, the bulb it self is red but I don't know if that will produce a red spec. 2700k.
You should not have any problems putting the other bulbs in.
You have to bulbs? is this on one socket? if you have two sockets I would get two y spliters and use 4 bulbs.

This plant is very hardy, its a weed and just like other weeds they grow easy. light,air,h20,growing medium, and tlc. you just don't want to much of one thing.

No yea I know what your talking about with the bulb, that red one is no good. I looked up the 6500k ones and I didn know there was a diff between "warm light" and "cool/day light" ill go to home depot and get new bulbs. There in a Y adapter now and my 6 plants are under 4 bulbs. There in a closet but every other day I open the closet, crack the window and use an oscillating fan for some circulation and to stimulate stem strength.

I wasen't really saying that the bulb was no good I was saying I don't know enough about that bulb. what are the specs. I have seen them on ebay but never really looked at them, I think them come in almost every color. I wounder what they look like, I guess just red.
One of the good things about cfls is that you can get them very close to the top of the plant.
