Ok so I dont know anything about led's, but im setting up a 3x4x6 mother box, it wont ever be used for anything except moms. Anyway I got 2 new cheap nockoff 450w led panels that run 285 actual watts and are rated for a 4x3.5 space each. Now ive hears some negative things about how harsh led light can be on plants, so my question is should I only run 1 of them or can I go ahead and run bothe ?

Thanks

I use LED lighting exclusively and be careful. For keeping mothers alive you dont really need superpowered lighting and a few decent watt cfls will cover that. If you do use LED for that size I would put the light at the very top. LED's are super intense lighting and you will see warping an burning on leaves or even worse: dwarfism at the top of your plants if the light is too close. My opinion is to use your led's for main or supplemental lighting in your grow/bloom rooms an use a few high watt cfls in the 5k-6500k range and save on your power bill.
