just to add something here, its not that the plant cant handle heat. they can and pretty well at that. the hotter it gets the more lanky and airy the buds are. what makes things worse is if the temp stays above upper 80's/low 90's you WILL GET SPIDER MITES. they love hot dry climate.. now instead of airy lanky buds you get buds full of mites.. yummy!
This is best answer... sooo true, spidermites will appear out of nowhere when temps are too high, plus your crop will be airy crap that smells like grass

this is 100% true. I just harvested some Skywalkers that while on vacation temps were allowed by plant sitter to get into mid 90s and it was only for 10 days. Well needless to say this whole grow was trash when I got back. The buds were super airy and fluffy and even after curing for 3 weeks now they still smell like fresh cut grass ): gonna use the whole thing for bho and see if I can get something out of it.

I guerrilla grew in the desert southwest (far West Texas/Southern New Mexico and even points in Northern Chihuahua and Sonora, MX) starting in 1964. Marijuana can, and does, stay alive in temperatures as high as 120 degrees. Now it isn't happy then but survives it and does so day after day. Often these 100+ days number 55-60 in a summer season down there. I have seen pics of grows around Death Valley. Not optimal but what can you do?

its not that co2 make plants heat resistant...its that adding more heat makes the plants able to use more co2.
spider mites come not from heat per se. they come from being carried in from an outside source. the thing though is they reproduce better in drier, hotter conditions. i think its funyt though that you think mites appear magically from hotter conditions....you really dont think thats true do you.?
