How hot can it get?

Hi guys, i have 10 bagseed growing atm all about 10" tall. I have a dual 400w mh at the moment but temps go pretty high with both running.
With only 1 running i get about 27c at day and 20c at night.

Running both gets me to 31,5c at day and 23 at night...

I would love too run both as 1 is struggling giving enough lumen for the area.. How bad will it get having 32c all day long?..

Need advice on this one

its to high of a temp the optimuim temp is between 20c and 25c have you got a fan in there?? or extractor fans ?

u wanna aim for 75f i dont like my temps over 80f. But remember plants can take in higher amounts of CO2 at higher temps.

i have a 4" inline extraction fan and a passive intake. also a 82 oscillating fan for circulation.

noisewise thats the largest inline i can use i think.. assuming the bigger once do make more noise hehe

now that they are small i guess i can live with using only one 400w mh for the vegging.. but once they grow bigger i would probably need 2 x hps to penetrate good enough.. no idea how too solve the temp issue then..

I would suggest putting the passive intake near the ground, and have the exaust fan pick up the hot air from the top of the room and blow it out to another area. (hopefully not the same place the intake comes from) i've seen my temps get upto 90 - your plants can still grow. and you are using bag seed. bag seed is more suited to deal with harsh earth like temps of the summer like 90 degrees or more.

allright.. well my 4" extraction fan goes straight up through the roof and into the attic. passive intake is 2" "plumbing pipe" going from nextdoor room and into the grow at floor level, this pipe is directed at the soil line of the crop.. cant feel a whole lot of air coming in but there is a draft kinda..

I had my seedlings and small plants under 500W of CFL, and the temps maxed out around 91F (32.8C). The plants got very heat-stressed ... curled tips, curled leaves, even necrotic spots. Once I reduced the number of bulbs down to 250W worth, and the temps dropped to 80F (26.7C) max, and they became MUCH happier.

The plant has to be developed enough to be able to transport water from the roots to the leaves, to keep up with the evaporation because of the heat.

have a couple fanleaves that looks abit "droopy" and that might be heat stress from testing out the dual 400w.

trying too cool down the room intake air comes from now and see how that works.
